Command Sgt. Maj. Harry Bennett of the 352nd Civil Affairs Command speaks during a commissioning ceremony for 2nd Lt. Aishe Allen March 5, at Fort Meade, Md. Allen, who works for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Services Division in her civilian career, received a direct commission and will serve as a logistics officer for the 450th Civil Affairs Battalion, an Army Reserve unit based in Riverdale, Md. Originally from the former Soviet Union, Allen has a master's degree in international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.
