Lance Cpl. John Rasoilo, a rifleman with Company I, Battalion Landing Team 3/8, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, looks for a hand-hold while practicing the top rope climbing technique during a class at the Assault Climbers Course at Cooper's Rock in Kingwood, W.Va., April 27. The Marines climbed the rock face using protective gear, known as "friends." For additional safety while practicing friend placement, the Marines used a safety line.
