Cpl. Michael R. Gibbons and Cpl. Christina White hold White’s re-enlistment certificate at Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, July 31. Gibbons took part in his first re-enlistment ceremony as a career planner July 31. White re-enlisted to continue working as an administrative clerk as independent duty out of Kansas City, Mo. The experience Gibbons gained, working alongside the RCT-7 career planner to re-enlist White, will benefit him as he wraps up a year-long tour in Afghanistan and takes over as the career planner for Marine Helicopter Squadron 1.
