KABUL, Afghanistan — Journalists and the media have the opportunity to ask questions of International Security Assistance Force personnel every week.
This week, the ISAF Civilian Casualty Tracking Cell manager, Lauren Sweeney, will answer questions posed by the media.
As the Civilian Casualty Tracking Cell manager, Ms. Sweeney is responsible for tracking investigations of civilian casualty claims. She also acts as the point of contact for Non-Government Organizations and International Organizations seeking information on specific incidents. Ms. Sweeney is willing to answer your questions; any question. All you have to do is "Ask ISAF."
Possible topics include but are not limited to:
- ISAF's civilian casualty investigation process
- The challenge of determining if ISAF has caused civilian casualties
- Why ISAF statistics may differ from other organizations
- The care taken by ISAF to avoid civilian casualties
