NMCB 74 Surveys Expansion Area at Camp Leatherneck

Petty Officer 2nd Class Adolfo Valdez, native of San Diego, Calif., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, Headquarters Company, inputs coordinates and elevation information for a temporary bench mark into a Trimble S-6 robotic surveying instrument. Valdez and his team are conducting a topographical survey at the Camp Leatherneck expansion site, which will provide the battalion with an accurate representation of the lay of the land.
