NMCB 74 Surveys Expansion Area at Camp Leatherneck

Petty Officer 2nd Class Adolfo Valdez, native of San Diego, Calif., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 74, Headquarters Company, and Spc. Joel Quintanilla, native of San Antonio, Texas assigned to the 655th Concrete Team, 19th Engineer Battlaion, record elevation points to give equipment operators conducting earthmoving operations a diagram of high and low areas. Valdez and his team are conducting a topographical survey at the Camp Leatherneck expansion site, which will provide the NMCB 74 with an accurate representation of the lay of the land.
