Guard Has No Long-term Role in Reconstruction Missions, Says Defense Secretary

The ADT stopped here to meet with local government officials about crops and farming in the area, as well as to conduct a site visit of a nearby nursery. From this meeting the ADT will be able to ascertain how coalition forces can offer assistance to area farmers struggling to maintain productive crops, as well as increase indigenous plant growth.
