Italian Maj. Damiano Morici, a medic, and Lt. Fabrizio Dell'Aglio, both from Italian Task Force South, hold a young Afghan boy who was victim to a suicide bombing in Farah City around 9 a.m., Nov. 20, so U.S. Navy Cmdr. Nancy Delaney, a doctor assigned to Forward Operating Base Farah, can inspect the boy's back for injuries. The suicide bomber driving a motorcycle blew himself up killing 16 people and injuring 34 more. The attack occurred near the Farah province governor's compound and after Farah Hospital became overwhelmed with casualties, 22 wounded Afghan males were transported to FOB Farah for treatment. All medical personnel on the FOB congregated around Forney Clinic on base to triage and treat patients.
