Gunnery Sgt. Sims, a U.S. Marine from 4th Platoon, Company C, 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 1st Marine Division, prepares to rappel with Mexican Marines Stationed in Calima, Mexico. June 21. The Marines are attached to the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 24 and are embarked on the USS New Orleans in support of operation Partnership of the Americas and Southern Exchange 2010, two separate U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South exercises being executed concurrently with partner nation forces from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
