Marines with Recruiting Station Fort Lauderdale join Congresswomen Frederica Wilson at the 19th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Scholarship Breakfast, Jan. 16, 2012, in Miami, Fla. The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project, an organization built around the guidance and mentorship of at risk minority children in the African-American community, puts on the breakfast each year to award college scholarships to young men looking for success. The Marine Corps and 5000 Role Models share a common goal – to guide those in search of success.
