Ramsay Wharton, a reporter with Hawaii News Now, flashes a Hawaiian "shaka" while sitting in the cockpit of a F/A-18D Hornet from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (All Weather) 225 at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, July 25. She is joined by joined by Capt. Jon K. Von Seggern, (left) a Hornet weapons systems officer, and Cpl. William E. Thedford, (right) an aircraft communications and navigation systems technician. Wharton conducted four live interviews from the air station aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii to explain their role in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2012 and the capabilities of their aircraft. The California-based squadron completed their RIMPAC missions Aug. 2 and continued on to Japan for the rest of their deployment.
