    Commander, Navy Recruiting Command

    A native of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, Senior Chief Lejeune enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18 on June 22, 2001. He completed recruit training and Seaman Apprenticeship “A” school in Great Lakes, Ill.

    Senior Chief Lejeune’s first sea assignment was aboard USS JUNEAU (LPD-10) where he served as a member of 1st Division Deck Department. While on JUNEAU he made several WESTPAC deployments and 9 months in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In November of 2004, he reported to USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72), during his tour, he completed a WESTPAC deployment and several humanitarian missions.

    After two successful sea tours, Senior Chief Lejeune reported to NRD New Orleans to begin recruiting duty. He served as a Recruiter and Recruiter in Charge at NRS Hammond. In 2010 he was selected for Chief Petty Officer.

    Following his tour in New Orleans, Senior Chief Lejeune reported to NRD Michigan and assumed duties as the Northern Michigan Zone Supervisor. During this tour served as the Chief Petty Officer Association President.

    In June of 2014 he transferred to NRD Ohio and assumed duties as Command trainer. He served as CPO 365 Phase 1 Coordinator, The Command Managed Equal Opportunity Manager and Senior Watch Officer during his tour.

    Senior Chief Lejeune transferred to Command Navy Recruiter Command in February 2017 and is assigned to N7 Training and Quality Assurance Department in Millington, Tennessee. In June 2017 he was selected for promotion to Senior Chief Petty officer.

    In December 2019, he reported to NTAG Empire State as the Assistant Chief Recruiter. Following his tour in Empire State he reported to Navy Recruiting Region East in September 2021 to assume the duties as the Region Assistant Chief Recruiter.

    In October 2022 he assumed the duties of Chief Recruiter at NTAG Rocky Mountain.

    Senior Chief Lejeune is married to his wife Claudia. They have four children together. Astrid (16), Jet (14), Emmarie (10), Saylor (8). He enjoys spending his off time with his family and being outdoors.

    Senior Chief Lejeune is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 201 Purple Group. His awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy (5), Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4), Meritorious Unit Commendation (4), and various unit and campaign awards.
