U.S. 1st Lt. Jacob Casale and 1st Lt. Emily Bush, both platoon leaders in Task Force Nightmare, pose together for a photo on Military Spouse Appreciation Day at Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base, Romania, May 10, 2024. Casale and Bush married in 2022 and hail from Sacramento, California, where they met during high school. Casale pursued an education at West Point and Bush attended the Naval Academy.
