Col. Lee A. Burnett, Commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Marc G. Selby, senior enlisted advisor hosted the Commander's Off-site Conference October 12-14 at the Dragon Hill Lodge in Yongsan.
Commanders, Senior Enlisted Advisors and staff members throughout the Korean Peninsula gathered to improve unit cohesion, mentorship and the on-boarding process. The conference included team building exercises, guest speakers from the 5th Security Forces Advisor Brigade and the Arbinger Institute.
Participants took part in the Outward Inclusion workshop, hosted by Ms. Janice Hall, a Senior Consultant for the Arbinger Institute. The workshop focuses on creating an inclusive organization, creates a space where people are seen as people instead of obstacles and encouraged to engage in authentic conversations.
The Conference concluded with a hike to Namsan Tower in Itaewon, Seoul.
