From Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs
NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded MIG WMJ JV1 LLC, Virginia Beach, Virginia, a $23,039,522, firm-fixed price contract for fire protection repairs to building NH-95 onboard Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia.
The project will modernize the fire protection system to include fire protection repairs/construction to building NH-95. Work will be performed in Norfolk, and is expected to be complete by May 2026.
Fiscal year 2023 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $23,039,522 will be obligated at time of award, and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contract was competitively procured via the www.sam.gov website with three proposals received.
