Soldiers with the Wisconsin National Guard’s 724th Engineer Battalion, headquartered in Chippewa Falls, Wis., complete weapons training Oct. 13, 2023, on two ranges on North Post at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The unit completed a weekend training for weapons training and other training.
During October, thousands of troops trained on post, kicking off a busy fiscal year 2024 training year at Fort McCoy.
Fort McCoy’s motto is to be the “Total Force Training Center.”
Located in the heart of the upper Midwest, Fort McCoy is the only U.S. Army installation in Wisconsin.
The installation has provided support and facilities for the field and classroom training of more than 100,000 military personnel from all services nearly every year since 1984.
