    Two large weapons caches secured, destroyed

    KABUL - Multiple intelligence sources and tips from local citizens led Afghan National Security Forces and coalition forces to two large weapons caches - which were secured and destroyed - in the Sarobi District of Kabul province today.

    The caches consisted of: 129 82MM mortar rounds, 13 61MM mortar rounds, 45 rocket-propelled grenade-9 rounds, 25 RPG-9 boosters, 16 RPG-7 rounds, one recoilless rifle, one anti-personnel mine, one DShK (a heavy anti-aircraft machine gun), one DShK vehicle mount, eight cans of DShK ammunition, two 107MM rockets, 24 40MM rockets and 10 rocket fuses.

    The caches were destroyed in place.
