KABUL - Two Afghan civilians were wounded by an improvised explosive device in the Sharan District of Paktika province today.
The IED exploded in front of an International Security Assistance Force provincial reconstruction team convoy, injuring the two civilians.
A PRT medic assessed the injuries to the Afghan civilians and they were taken to a local hospital in a privately-owned vehicle.
