KABUL, Afghanistan – Nine International Security Assistance Force service members were killed when an ISAF helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan today.
One ISAF service member, an Afghan National Army soldier and a U.S. civilian received injuries in the crash and were transported to an ISAF medical facility for treatment (initial reporting indicated two ISAF service members were injured).
There are no reports of enemy fire in the area.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
