KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and coalition forces discovered a large improvised explosive device cache during a patrol Saturday in the Zharay District of Kandahar province.
The patrol found a cache of more than 30 anti-personnel mines, five anti-tank mines, more than 20 hand grenades and more than 300 meters of detonation cord.
An explosive ordnance disposal team disarmed the devices in place.
