    An Afghan-led force killed 19 insurgents and disrupted known insurgent resupply lines during operations in the Arghestan district of Kandahar province, Nov. 7.

    The operation consisted of forces from the Afghan Border Police and the Afghan National Army commandos, partnered with a force of Soldiers from Special Operations Task Force – South.

    Recovered during the operation were nine motorcycles operated by insurgents, three mortar rounds, one mine, three rocket propelled grenade rounds, four RPG launchers, four assault rifles, approximately 900 rounds of machine gun ammunition and various improvised explosive device making material.

    No civilians were injured and no property damage was reported during the operation.
