KABUL, Afghanistan - The International Security Assistance Force joins President Karzai in condemning the IED attack in Qhormach district of the Frayab province that killed nine and wounded one. Five children were among the dead. Initial reports indicate a single IED was detonated.
"The insurgents’ violent attack on civilians demonstrates their complete disregard for the Afghan people and the value of human life. We mourn with our Afghan partners, and we are outraged over this tragic crime," said Gen. John R. Allen, commander of ISAF.
