[12] S.C. National Guard Soldiers combine forces with Thai soldiers for massive exercise Cobra Gold 2010 has been a rewarding exercise with both American and Thai Soldiers getting to teach and learn. Over the final four days of the exercise the two groups came together for a large-scale assault. [12] South Carolina National Guard teaches Non-Lethal Force Class in Thailand Soldiers are trained and ready to handle anything they encounter either domestically or overseas, however not all situations call for Soldiers to use lethal force. The Non-Lethal Weapons training during Cobra Gold 2010 gave American and Thai Soldiers a chance to familiarize themselves with the various types of non-lethal weapons and when to use them. (02/25/10)

[1] RQ1 Predator Mission On Jan. 28, personnel from 432nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Creech AFB, NV, prepare a RQ1 Predator from the 11th Reconnaissance Squadron, Creech AFB, NV, for launch. The RQI Predator is being used to support Operation Unified Response in Haiti. This is a historic moment, in that this is the first time an RQ1 Predator has been used to support a humanitarian relief operation. The RQ1 Predator has never been used in a civilian unified operation and has also not been flown out of a civilian airport, which it now currently is out of Puerto Rico.
