In this edition of Profiles in Heritage, retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Jeanne Holm reflects on her time in the service. Maj. Gen. Holm started her career in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and went on to become the Air Force's first female general, and the first female to receive a second star in the armed forces.
Special thanks to the Holm family and the Library of Congress for the use of her interview. [Jeanne Holm (AFC 2001/001/4293), Video Recording, Veterans History Project Collection, American Folklife Center, Library of Congress.]
