On the 12th of September 2013, the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Special Forces Underwater Operations School in Key West, Florida christened it’s newest water drop zone.
On the 12th of September 2013, the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), Special Forces Underwater Operations School (SFUWO) named and activated a new water drop zone in honor of a fallen combat diver who died of injuries sustained in a Improvised Explosive Device attack last year in Afghanistan. The drop zone is located South of Boca Chica key, Florida.
