US Marines with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines (BLT 3/5), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU) conduct a vertical assault on a Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) facility in Okinawa, Japan as part of MEU Exercise (MEUEX). The 31st MEU conducts MEUEX to prepare the unit for an upcoming amphibious deployment and practice it’s mission essential tasks while improving overall operational readiness.
