Deterrence is not an exclusively military concept, so why can it be so difficult? Is military deterrence still relevant today? Our triad force of missiles, bombers and submarines has been the cornerstone of our nuclear deterrent strategy for decades, but how do we deter non-state actors in an era of terrorism? These are some of these issues addressed by faculty in this video from Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.
