Members of the West Virginia Air National Guard participated in a casualty evacuation, exercise during SENTRY STORM 2019, at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport. Sentry Storm is a West Virginia National Guard lead joint exercise involving fifteen separate military and civilian organizations. The exercise is designed to provide military units real world readiness training while providing domestic repose capability to support the World Scout Jamboree.
Enroute Patient Care System, Critical Care Air Transportation Team and Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Airman form the West Virginia Air National Guard worked with local Emergency Services to simulate the air transportation of multiple simulated patients at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport.
