Sector New York is the largest Coast Guard operational field command on the East Coast. Located at historic Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, New York, the sector executes Coast Guard operations from Sandy Hook, New Jersey, north through the Port of New York/New Jersey, continuing up the Hudson River to just south of Lake Champlain, and up the East River to the Long Island Sound-Connecticut border.
