Three ships from the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) arrived on station in the North Arabian Gulf (NAG), Oct. 1, to conduct the amphibious offload of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) (24MEU (SOC)) into Kuwait Naval Base for sustainment and training qualifications.
