Commander, Naval Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Western Regional Command Rear Admiral Ratmir Komratov met with Commander U-S Naval Forces Central Command U-S 5th Fleet Vice Admiral Patrick Walsh January 8. During the visit both leaders discussed cooperation issues between the U-S and Kazakhstan Navy. In the future, Kazakhstan plans to mirror U-S activities in the 5th Fleet area of operations in the Caspian Sea region. From Bahrain, I'm Petty Officer Bobby Northnagle.
