Soldiers from the 656th Signal Company, from Torrance, Pa., have the responsibility of keeping over 4,000 Stryker Soldiers connected with radio, telephone and internet. The 56th Stryker Brigade operates in a large area north of Baghdad working with Iraqi police and military providing security and civil capacity to this rural area of farms and villages. The 656th Signal Company has improved communications for the Stryker Brigade providing Soldiers with radio communications to every corner of the Taji region and as far south as Baghdad.
