She is a truck driver and paratrooper. She is the wife of a deployed Soldier and a mother of four. She is currently serving her country in Iraq's Al Anbar province. Army correspondent Private First Class Jessica Cooke introduces us to Spc. Melissa Kennebrew. Kennebrew explains, in her own words, a day in the life in the motorpool and how she's following in her family's footsteps.
TAG: The Third Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment is part of the First Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division. First Brigade is the first "Advise and Assist Brigade" in Al Anbar province. The unit replaced two U-S Marine Regimental Combat Teams as part of the responsible drawdown of U-S forces in Iraq.
