The Commander of ISAF, General Stanley McChrystal, held his first official
joint meeting with the new NATO Senior Civilian Representative to
Afghanistan, Ambassador Mark Sedwill. Ambassador Sedwill, the former UK
Ambassador to Afghanistan, talked about how the campaign needed a joint
military, civil and political approach in support of the Afghans in all
three areas.
