According to U.S. Aid Afghanistan, school attendance in the country increased from 900,000 to 5 million since the Taliban government collapsed in 2001, and more than 34 percent are girls. Petty Officer Cody Boyd tells us how the Parwan Provincial Reconstruction Team is assessing schools in the province to give more girls a chance at education.
