As a result of Taliban reign, no documentation of Afghanistan's legal codes survived, but after numerous talks and interviews with more than 20 senior Afghan legal experts and justice officials, the United States Institute of Peace published a special report titled "Establishing Rule of Law in Afghanistan." Marine Cpl. Bryan Lett tells us how Afghan legal experts are helping implement the rule of law in Kunar province.
