Interviewer: Some days ago, Head of Kandahar Hajj and Religious Affairs Department was killed. What do your opinion about this action?



Interviewee: As you know, officials of Hajj & Religious Affairs Ministry serve Hajjis and provide people opportunities to get Islamic education. It is not an armed force so we can't describe the action an Islamic way and it is the worst behavior. None of the religious group is allowed to insult other religious groups. Muslims are not allowed to burn Bible. Christians are not allowed to burn Qur'an. It is activity of the people who don't like Muslims and other religious groups to have good relations. They are the people who even harm themselves. It is our demand that perpetrators should be brought to court. They shouldn't be let to deteriorate the relations among different religious groups. It is my request from security forces to stop those people who try to perform the action and the doers of the action should be arrested and brought to court.



Interviewer: What should people do when such actions take place because if they start violation in the cities, they harm their countrymen and people?



Interviewee: There is a Nationwide Ulamas Shura, Islamic Conference and other Islamic Organs and different foundations that defend Islam. It is their responsibility to condemn and stop the Anti-Islamic actions.



Interviewer: You mean it is a political issue. Parliament and other Islamic communities are responsible to take care of them?



Interviewee: As I said there are parliament, Islamic Conference, United Nations and other national and International Islamic organizations that are responsible to act against the similar activities. People can deliver their anger or condemn the bad actions through the organizations. It is not good to burn our own house by condemning the action performed in USA. We shouldn't harm ourselves. It is good to deliver our message to the person through using different ways.



Interviewer: What Muslims should do when such actions take place?



Interviewee: As I said it is responsibility of the relevant organs to act against anti-Islamic or other bad activities. It is Hadith that the responsible people should work to stop and act against bad activities. It is the best way that the responsible organs should condemn such actions representing the people of Afghanistan. None of the nation in the world support violation among civilizations and different groups. Now, International Community attempts hard to ensure peaceful environment for people to live in peace. I am sure good people in the world will stop and condemn the similar actions. We should get united with world to stop the bigoted people who try to spread violation and hatred among societies.



Interviewer: How important is elections and people's vote according to Islam?



Interviewee: elections are not banned in Islam. When there is need to elect someone by people, Islam doesn't orders to stop it. If problem of an Islamic society is solved by elections, it is responsibility of every Muslim to take part. There are different examples of elections in the history of Islam. If there are nominees to become representative of people, then, it is responsibility of Muslims to elect the best one.



Interviewer: What is your message to people in this special circumstance?

Interviewee: A person will come to Parliament from a region, if people want or don't so people are responsible to elect professional, honest and expert person as their representative in the parliament. If people don't vote, uneducated, dishonest and unprofessional person will be their representatives for five years in the parliament so what will be the consequences. If a person deeply thinks about these points, he will suppose himself responsible to vote.
