Sgt. 1st Class Jason Harmer, platoon sergeant, 2nd Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment trains Iraqi soldiers at the Kirkush Military Training Base in northern Iraq. The training is part of a 25-day cycle that trains leaders at the squad and platoon levels to receive orders and execute missions. Once the training cycle is complete Iraqi units will have the skills to continue to improve upon what they've learned on their own without U.S. military assistance.
