A toll-free, 24-hour confidential helpline called Vets4Warriors, dedicated specifically to assisting troubled Fort Hood soldiers and families, kicked off, Feb. 1. The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey is providing the helpline which will be staffed by combat veterans trained as peer counselors. Fort Hood military community members in need of support can call the Vets4Warriors helpline at 1-855 VET-TALK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
