Sailors from NAF Misawa volunteer to clean up the local fishing port. Misawa, Japan fishing port and beach area clean up is expected to take a total of 8 days. 3 days to clean up the debris, 2 days to haul debris away and 3 days days to clean the sand. Misawa city staff is very thankful for the effort the base is putting in to help. Sound bite includes Chief Petty Officer Bradley Dickey and Seaman Tam Hoang.
