Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point's air show, “Celebrate the Heritage,” May 4, 5 and 6, is the largest air show in North Carolina this year. More than 150,000 people come to MCAS Cherry Point air shows to enjoy food, flybys and fun. This year Cherry Point will commemorate the centennial of Marine aviation and 70 years of the air station. The Blue Angels, a jet-powered rocket truck, the Red Tails, a Marine Air-Ground Task Force and a kid's fun zone are just a few attractions planned for this year's air show. Also, there will be a free, live, country music concert Saturday featuring Darryl Worley and Bill Gentry. Come to Cherry Point May 4, 5, and 6 and immerse yourself in the aviation heritage, the entertainment and the experience of the largest air show in North Carolina.
