Military Working Dogs, or MWD's have been a valuable asset to the U.S. Military since the “War Dog Program” in World War II. While responsibilities of the MWD's have changed over the decades, their contributions to the armed forces have remained invaluable. Marine Corporal Chelsea Steinbrecher Hoffmann takes us to Kadena Air Base where modern MWD's train with their handlers regularly. Soundbites include LCpl Christian Weller- Canine Handler and SSgt Sara Gregrow- Kennel Master. Produced by Cpl Chelsea Steinbrecher Hoffmann.
