The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division, hosted its 11th and final regularly-scheduled twice monthly conference call to keep communities in the Missouri River basin informed about the reservoir release forecast, weather conditions, reservoir operations and the status of repairs and rehabilitation, June 22, 2012.
The general format of the call includes an update from the Climate Prediction Center, which develops long-range weather forecasts for the Missouri River Basin. The Missouri River Basin Water Management Division gave a report of the conditions on the ground, the current runoff forecast and reservoir release plans. The Corps’ Omaha and Kansas City districts provided an update of the status of repairs currently underway. A question and answer session followed.
