Marines and Sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, alongside Philippine Marines and soldiers, learned about the employment of a variety of non-lethal weaponry during a class from the DOD's Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program. The group were also given the chance to fire the X26 Taser, FN-303 launcher, Stingball grenades, rubber shotgun rounds, and non-lethal M203 grenade rounds.
