On May 7, 2013, in observance of Physical Fitness month, DoDLive hosted the Health Promotion and Wellness Campaign’s Active Living Bloggers Roundtable featuring two prominent military health representatives and a discussion of the importance of active living for sailors and Marines.
The Roundtable highlighted two fitness resources designed to help maintain operational readiness: the Navy Operational Fitness and Fueling System (NOFFS) and the High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program. The session will also provide an opportunity to learn about the Active Living component of the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC) Health Promotion and Wellness campaign and the impact of physical fitness on military readiness.
