Winn Mete of radio show Base Alpha-Kilo interviews 1st Sgt. Tom Dow Jr., from Alaska’s Northern Warfare Training Center, and Spc. Colton Carr, from the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. The two soldiers successfully climbed the highest peak in North America, Mount McKinley, June 1, 2013, as part of a U.S. Army Alaska team to build and test the expertise of Arctic soldiers to conduct operations at high altitudes and in cold temperatures.
