USAREUR’s Commanding General Lt. Gen. Donald Campbell was in Zagreb, Croatia, this week to observe Exercise Immediate Response 13. While there, he talked about the evolving U.S. commitment to NATO and the European Rotational Force. Staff Sgt. Caleb Barrieau reports. Campbell said starting this fall, the U.S. commitment to NATO will be augmented by a European Rotation Force Brigade based in the United States and regionally aligned with the European Command. SB: (The U.S. commitment to NATO) The first unit that has been selected is the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, from Fort Hood, Texas.
