NEW LONDON, Conn. - U.S. Coast Guard commandant Adm. Thad Allen gives the class of 2010 commencement address during the Coast Guard Academy's 129th Commencement, May 19, 2010. After four years of academics, physical fitness, character and leadership, the newly commissioned ensigns will apply their rigorous education for the next five years to carrying out the 11 Coast Guard missions in various units around the country.
