NEW ORLEANS -- Audio from a media briefing by NOAA Administrator Dr. Jane Lubchenco; Cmdr. Shepard Smith, commanding officer of the NOAA ship Thomas Jefferson; and Larry Mayer, professor and director of the University of New Hampshire Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping. The brief preceeded departure of the ship on a 10-day scientific mission near the BP Deepwater Horizon spill.
