NEW ORLEANS (Oct. 6, 2010) - Rear Adm. Paul D. Zukunft, Federal On-Scene Coordinator for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill response and lead of the subsurface monitoring unit, NOAA scientist, Sam Walker held a teleconference here today to provide an operational update on Deepwater Horizon/BP oil spill response and recovery efforts and ongoing subsurface oil monitoring operations coordinated by the Unified Area Command.
